Hip-hop reality TV show star Benzino whose real name is Raymond Scott, was reported to have been shot at his Mums funeral yesterday. Reports gathered he was shot and injured after allegedly being shot by his nephew on Duxbury, Massachusetts highway on Saturday while riding in a funeral procession for a family member (Mum), according to authorities and his hip-hop magazine.
Benzino who has taken to Instagram to let the world know he is in stable condition. Posting a photo in the hospital, the caption read, “Feel much better, GOD IS REAL @luvheraltheaheart is my SOULMATE……. MY MOTHER TOUCHED ME, I’M CERTAIN.”
Benzino’s Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta co-star Stevie J also jumped on Instagram last night to do some social network reporting with the caption, “God is good!”
Benzino was shot by his 36 year-old nephew, Gai Scott, with whom he had a previously standing beef and now under Police custody, Scott has been charged for assault with the intent to murder.
